We were very excited last week when YSL tapped on Piranha’s shoulder to produce a range of content for them. And they needed it fast. You can read everywhere, content is king, but in this case, fast turnaround was the queen.
We produced fast and direct content for YSL for their men spring summer 2019 collection show featuring their out-of-home marketing initiatives leading up to the exclusive live runway show here in NYC. (view project on our website)
First, we shot “Context photography” of multiple type of assets, by capturing authentic NYC atmosphere of their branding within the streets of the big apple. We captured billboards, wild posting, posters and stickers all over the meatpacking and soho, where they targeted their campaign.
On June 6th, YSL held a live show showcasing their new menswear collection, backlit with a beautiful view of the NYC skyline at night. Saint Laurent live streamed the entire event in the legendary Times Square billboard corner in front of the world famous US armed forces Recruiting center.
For the live event, our crew of three captured video of the stream, showcasing their brand in context in the city, and capturing people reacting to the grand presentation live in times square.
All these assets served on their Social media platforms as well as internal purposes.
